Andy Brown and Halley Felty moved to Kentucky from Virginia and obtained a portion of land through land grant. One of their son's (James E. Brown) was my great grandfather. Indications are that they may have had 13 children. Information on children 7 through 13 not confirmed.

(One of Andy's daughters) married John H Cheek on 28 Oct 1882, his birth 1847, North Carolina. Only one child known for this marriage

(One of Andy's daughters) married William Emett (Bill) Carlton and indications are that they had 15 children. Three of their children were stillborn

Willey married (1^st) Alta May Burchett and they had 5 children: Mildred Agnes, Wilfred, Ruth Silvia, Nila (stillborn) and Betty Eloise. Willey married (2^nd) Lillian Maudell Derosett and they had 6 children: David Wayne, Lyndon Murl, Anna Jean, Zenova Lizzabeth, Glenna May and Phala Ka thern.
